God Never Leaves Me

In my great agonizing moments
when no one is within my reach
I looked up and lifted up my hands
to keep in touch with Someone above
for HE cares with everlasting love.

At times when my path seems fogbound
when doubt seem to deem my faith
I rise to feel HIS loving presence
to feel HIS strength, I call HIS name
HE sees me through and bears my pain.

At times when fears come rumbling out
when I grope and fall in the dark
I keep strong and hope for the light
to see the golden rays of the bright dawn
the sign that HE never leaves me alone.
